After you have taken over a club, you will be the manager, but you will be locked, which is shown with the little lock icon next to your username in the club overview.

Locked managers are only able to set the tactics, but nothing more. In order to gain full access to all managerial tasks, you need to unlock yourself as manager. And to unlock yourself, you need a minimum of 5000 influence in the club you are managing. For the pre-release beta the Soccerverse Team will provide you with free SMC and influence in your club and several others. After having taking over a club, you will see this message at the top of your screen:

By pressing "Click here", you will get prompted to provide your Discord Username. If you have not yet joined the Soccerverse Discord server , make sure to join the server BEFORE linking your account. Please note, that there is a difference between your username and display name in Discord, so make sure, you are providing your username (just click on user settings in the bottom left corner to check what your username is). Your Discord Username should get auto-filled and be already correct; only edit the username if you are 100% sure that the username is NOT correct. Afterwards press the confirm button. Next copy the claim command from the blue bar and click the first "Click here".

In the claim channel in Discord paste your command and your SMC and influence should arrive in your Soccerverse account in a short period of time.

Afterwards press the second "click here" button in the blue bar to refresh. When going to the dropdown menu beneath your username and "Profile", you will see your free SMC and the number of clubs you have influence in. When going to "Portfolio" in that screen, you can see in which clubs you got influence in. You will have 10,000 influence in the club you manage and 5,000 influence in seven random top clubs. With the influence you got, you are now able to unlock yourself as manager and not be restricted to only setting the tactics in your club.
